At Candlelighters we’re so lucky to have an amazing team across all areas of our charity, from family support, to fundraising, to HR, to finance and corporate services, to name a few! These brilliant people try their hardest every day, live the Candlelighters values and each and every role makes a difference to families affected by childhood cancer. We’re always keen to let these fabulous people know just how much they mean to us, and today we were thrilled to present two of them with awards that recognise all their hard work and dedication.
Chris, our Partnerships Executive, was awarded a certificate of appreciation for organising and hosting our online Business Collaboration Project – a virtual get together for our business supporters to demonstrate their impact and share ideas.
And our Family Support Worker, Amy, was awarded Employee of the Year for working tirelessly throughout the pandemic, providing front line support to families on the wards and clinic at Leeds Children’s Hospital and helping to shape our family support model.
A big, big well done guys, you should be so proud!
