Top tips

  • Consider how your family, friends, neighbours, or your local community could help make your fundraiser a success. Could they donate or help to promote it?
  • Get your workplace involved - do they offer matched funding? If so, you could double your total and your impact!
  • Share photos and videos before, during, and after your challenge or event. This content tells the story of your fundraising and inspires people to donate.
  • Personalised fundraising pages raise on average 65% more than non-personalised pages so make sure to add a description and photos!
  • Set an achievable but ambitious target - this can motivate people to donate because they know what you're aiming for. If you reach your target before the end of the event or challenge, raise it to encourage more donations!
  • Email your local newspaper or radio station to let them know about your fundraising and ask if they would like to cover it to help get maximum awareness.
