Candlelighters Supportive Care Research Session- 17th October
We are hosting a joint research session with Dr Bob and his team from the University of York on Saturday 17th October at 10.30am - 12.30pm at The Square.
This session the team need your thoughts on what is it like to be part of a Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) in research group and sharing in some exciting updates on the Magic light, Photobiomodulation (PBM)therapy and the PEACHY study.
We are looking for children (aged 5 and over, though activities taking place will be particularly suitable for 7+), young people and adults to come and learn more about the research that is going on within children's cancer but also play a vital role in shaping future research.
Members of our Family Support will be there to welcome you at The Square in Leeds, and will be providing drinks and snacks as you get to take part in this exciting opportunity as well as having lots of fun throughout the session.
