We’re delighted to recognise HF Leeds as our Company of the Month for August!
HF have supported Candlelighters since 2024, supporting children and young people with cancer and their families in Yorkshire and raising a brilliant £6,749 in that time.
From sweepstakes and raffles to fundraising challenges and joining in with our annual campaign, Pink It Up week, the team have embraced every opportunity to make a difference.
Recently, the team at HF Leeds have also been busy ticking off the miles in support of Candlelighters, having walked the Liverpool Leeds Canal from Steeton to the Leeds Basin, as well as taking on the 20-mile Ullswater Way route in the Lake District – even braving the elements along the way!
Their continued support and commitment over the last few years has had a real impact on the families we support, and their support could fund new patient grants for all families for an entire month. This helps to cover unexpected and rising costs after a child or young person is diagnosed with cancer, like travel and accommodation, helping families to focus on being there for their child at the most challenging time.
