What is Pink It Up?

Pink It Up is our annual fundraising and awareness campaign, taking place every year in the first week of June. Brilliant people from across Yorkshire come together to support children and families by taking part in pink-themed fundraising!

It's a great way to show your support for children with cancer, get involved in your local community and importantly, have lots of fun! Whether you go all-out or keep it simple, your contribution helps provide essential support to children with cancer and their families

When is it?

The next Pink It Up is from 2nd - 8th June 2025 and anyone can get involved - families, schools, offices, businesses and entire communities!

Arlo's Story

Arlo was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in 2022 aged 8 months old. Treatment was long and upsetting, both for him and his parents Katie and Jowayne. The family received lots of support from Candlelighters, helping them emotionally, practically and financially. Katie and Jowayne decided they wanted to give back for the support they received and now take part in Pink It Up every year! They do collections, shop window competitions, coffee mornings and raffles in their hometown of Pateley Bridge, Harrogate. Now each year, the community of Pateley Bridge come together to celebrate Pink It Up and raise funds to support other families like Arlo's.

Share your pinkness!
