For our next Mums and Grandparents group we’re hosting three wreath-making groups at Swarthmore Education Centre next door to Candlelighters, to celebrate the festive season together:

Grandparents group – Wednesday 25th November, 11am–1pm
(For all grandparents who are bereaved or have a grandchild on or post-treatment)

 

Bereaved mums group – Saturday 28th November, 10am–12pm

 

On/post-treatment mums group – Saturday 28th November, 1pm–3pm

Each session will include hot drinks and festive snacks to enjoy while you craft your wreath or table centre piece! Our groups are a safe place to discuss and explore any worries or challenges you may be facing, as well as a lovely chance to catch up with new friends and familiar faces.

Places are limited, so please register your interest by clicking the link below and selecting the group you’d like to attend. Please RSVP no later than 13th November.

Our groups provide parents of children with cancer a safe space to share experiences, find understanding, and gain emotional support from those who truly “get it.” There’s no pressure to share - some parents may simply use these groups for a bit of light relief, distraction, or a moment of normalcy. However you choose to get involved, our groups can help reduce isolation and bring comfort.
