When one child is going through cancer treatment, their siblings often carry a lot of big emotions too — worry, confusion, frustration, or even feeling left out. That’s why we’re offering a special space just for them.

We invite your child to join our Sibling Support Group — a fun, creative space where children with a brother or sister in cancer treatment can connect with others who understand, express themselves through craft activities, and just be themselves.

Group Details:

🎨 What: A craft-based support group for siblings of children with cancer and lunch.

👫 Who: Children aged 5-15

📅 When: 10:30am-1pm, Saturday 28th February 2026

📍 Where: The Square, Candlelighters, LS3 1AD

💬 Led by: Candlelighters Family Support Team

Each session includes art and craft projects, games, and gentle group chats. There’s no pressure to talk about anything they don’t want to — it’s all about connection, creativity, and having a break in a safe, understanding space.

If you'd like to register your child, please fill in the link below by Monday 16th February.

If have any questions, please get in touch by replying to this email or contacting [email protected]

Our sibling groups offer a safe and supportive space for children aged 5–15 to share and explore any worries or challenges they might be facing – as well as a great opportunity to make friends and have fun.
