We are delighted to announce that our latest company of the month is D&D London!

D&D London first began supporting Candlelighters in July by asking customers to add a £1 donation to their bill, across their four Leeds restaurants, Crafthouse, Angelica, Issho and East 59th. Across the four restaurants in July, they raised £1,185.

As well as their success with £1 on the bill, they have also supported us this year by kindly hosting our groups for Mums of children on treatment and bereaved Mums and have pledged their support for these groups in 2023 too.

Our Bereaved Mum’s group and on-treatment Mums group provide a safe, informal and relaxed environment, for mums to meet, connect and talk openly about their concerns, experiences or day-to-day life, whilst enjoying an accompanying activity on the day.

“We are delighted to have partnered with Candlelighters for the month of July, as part of our £1 on the Bill Scheme. It is great to have raised so much money for such a fantastic charity, and to know we are making a difference to people who have had their lives affected by such a life-changing condition.” Annabel Gerrard from D&D London

“It was great to see four of Leeds’s popular restaurants in the D&D London group supporting Candlelighters in July and to raise an excellent amount of money. Their fundraising could help us fund a family holiday, which allows families to escape from their day-to-day childhood cancer journey and to have an opportunity to create loving memories together.”  Iain Blackwood Hobbs from Candlelighters

Mark Taylor, Melissa Stephenson and Antonia Gaunt from D&D
