Leeds based Porsche specialists, Strasse, continued their successful fundraising efforts at a recent Porsche Festival at Lotherton Hall.

Thousands of people turned up to admire hundreds of Porsche’s that were participating in the event. A huge raffle, as well as donations from stall holders and The Porsche Club of Great Britain helped raise £4500.

Lindsay Dobby from Strasse Porsche said, “We have supported Candlelighters since 2012 and I have seen how the charity supports children with cancer and their families. We are thrilled to support such a worthwhile charity whose aim is to help families who are dealing with such a life changing situation.”

Since they started fundraising in 2012 the company has raised over £16,000

Brian Curran, Candlelighters Corporate Fundraiser said,” Strasse’s involvement has made a significant difference to our families. As well as raising thousands of pounds they have also helped raise awareness of our work,”

Candlelighters would like to thank Strasse Porsche for their support, the money raised is going to make a huge difference to families facing childhood cancer across Yorkshire.
