Our ‘Company of the Month’ award for January 2020 goes to the wonderful Absolute Warehouse Services!

We are privileged to be supported by Absolute Warehouse Services, who have gone above and beyond to support us.

Earlier in 2019 they hosted three of our families at their box at Huddersfield Town Football Club in the match against Manchester United. One of our families said the following:-

“We just wanted to say a huge thank you for your generosity and hospitality at the end of season Huddersfield game this weekend. Being huge Town fans, it was a great way to make some special memories with Albie and the girls. You went out of your way to make sure we were comfortable and included, it was much appreciated. The work that Candlelighters do is so important to us, the peace and tranquillity of The Square giving us the much needed time out from hospital, the financial grants to help ease the burden and huge costs cancer creates and of course the special days that allow us to create happy memories to replace the not so happy ones over the last few years. So thank you for all the work you do supporting them, and us.”

They also auctioned a signed football shirt on the day raising £1,500, which they then doubled!

Following this, and wanting to do even more to support Candlelighters, they made the amazing decision to sponsor this year’s Christmas Party, having previously helped to provide toys for the party. Because of Absolute Warehouse Services, over 400 families enjoyed an afternoon of face painters, balloon artists, music, entertainment, games, sweets, candy floss and Santa’s grotto! They even provided a van for us to get all the special Christmas goodies to the venue. We simply wouldn’t have had the party we had without the support of Absolute Warehouse Services.
