Last November saw ale enthusiasts descend on the 15th Otley Beer Festival, raising £1000 for Candlelighters!

The annual event, which was held on 20/21 November 2015 at the Otley Rugby Club, has now raised over £70,000 for local charities since it’s inception – and last year Candlelighters was proud to be selected as one of the supported causes.

The festival was a smashing success, with people from across the Yorkshire community coming along to taste some of the 62 ales on offer and to enjoy a variety of live music.

Our Community Fundraiser Chloe was pleased to be invited to the post-event  presentation evening, where the winning breweries received awards and Chloe received a cheque for £1000, on behalf of Candlelighters, from the committee treasurer Allan Boddy.

Here at Candlelighters we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who organised, supplied, sponsored and attended the event! Your support has helped raised vital funds and awareness for childhood cancer in Yorkshire.
