On Saturday 30th June, three fantastic fundraisers, Charlene, Brianne and Julie, held a family fun day at Core Gym, Greengates in Bradford.

The day was kicked off by players from Bradford City AFC and cheerleaders of ND Dance, and followed by brilliant dance performances by local schools. As part of the fun day, they hosted a zumbathon; in the scorching heat, people from the local community joined in with 2 hours of incredible Zumba, with so much fun had by all! The Candlelighters vests and cheer sticks were out in force and the car park became a carnival with TDE Shaggy on the bongos, and summer tunes playing! There was also facepainting, an ice cream van, a bouncy castle and an array of stalls for everyone to enjoy. Amy from Candlelighters had so much fun at the event, and the wonderful group raised a whopping £533.51 for Candlelighters!
