The Lindsey Family decided to in their words ‘having a crack at climbing Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis (the highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland respectively) in 6 days.’

Graham Lindsey the family’s father said: “We might not manage it all but we’ll give it a good go because we want to raise as much money as we can for Candlelighters – a great local charity which supports families whose children have cancer.”

The family seemed to be having a great time making it to the top of Scarfell pike in time for lunch. With Freddie whistling, most of the way and Cameron hopped from rock to rock like a mountain goat.

They were up early for their final mountain. Hoping to the make it to the top and keeping their fingers crossed for a great view! When they made it, after a slightly controversial choice of ascent route they conquered their 3rd and final peak, Big Ben Nevis.

What a fantastic effort by the boys. The family would like to thank everyone for your generous donations, which helped them up the hills. They have raised an amazing £1008.50!
