Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated, friendly and flexible Housekeeper to join our team.  As an individual with experience in a similar role, you will be well organised and will ensure that the Family support centre, Cottage and Offices are clean, pleasant and safe for families and staff.

Candlelighters @ The Square is our family support centre based at Woodhouse Square in Leeds which has been set up to provide support to anyone who has been affected by childhood cancer, whether that be mum, dad, sibling, grandparent, close friend or patient.

The Candlelighters Cottage is a two-minute walk from Leeds Children’s Hospital and provides accommodation for four families each night, 365 nights a year.

Our buildings are in 3 close locations, set over 3 floors. For this reason, it is essential that the Housekeeper is able to manage multiple flights of stairs and the physical demands of the role. A good understanding of COSHH regulations is needed.
