Eco Integrated Property Solutions

The company contacted us to offer their services to support the Cottage project. Managing Director, Andrew Walker explained that we had supported him and his family when his son was diagnosed with cancer ten years previously. The team have undertaken the entire project management work for the Cottage, saving tens of thousands of pounds. This has included administration, co-ordination, management, the tender process, liaising with contractors and supporting the Candlelighters team with queries or requests for help, site visits, compliance checks and advice. Nothing is too much for them and they help in any way they can to ensure the project runs smoothly. The team have got involved with promotional work, including Andrew telling his personal story in press work and our newsletter. The staff have all fundraised too, undertaking a bucket collection and attending fundraising events. They have really thrown themselves into being behind us every step of the way.

Food Industry Associates

Food Industry Associates are long term, dedicated supporters of Candlelighters. In 2012 one of the team, whilst in hospital for treatment himself, was asked by a young girl of around 7 years old if he was okay. The girl had lost her hair via chemo and was on a drip. Seeing how brave and amazing she was inspired them to raise money to support children and families. The team make a donation to the charity for every candidate they place and to boost their fundraising they also undertake a serious physical challenge every year which have included the 3 Peaks Walk and a gruelling Windermere Row, with some toe nails being lost along the way! For a small company they show great commitment and dedication as a long term corporate supporter and have raised a whopping £12,930. The team also undertake some fantastic social media to grow awareness of Candlelighters widely.

Home Agency

Home Agency have been supporting Candlelighters since 2015 when they developed and designed our new website. They have undertaken fundraising through Christmas Jumper days and taken part in the Yorkshire Warrior event. The company undertake free web updates and design work, every month, which has saved the charity a whopping £34,000 to date. They are always helpful, friendly, approachable and supportive undertaking work quickly and effectively to ensure our website is working well to enable donations and vital communications with supporters. The Candlelighters website is such a massive part of the marketing strategy for Candlelighters, without them we would not be able to raise as much money and awareness of childhood cancer as we can. The amount of users on our website has increased significantly in the past year and this is due to their hard work and dedication.
