The Cottage Wish list
Our interior designer has put together a wish list for items that we would like for the Candlelighters Cottage to ensure it is homely, warm and welcoming for families.
These items have been chosen for durability, safety, to meet required regulations as well as comfort and appearance.
How you can help...
If you would like to kindly donate an item on our wish list, you can visit our online shop and kindly make your selection and donation. We will use your donation to cover the cost of the item (or an equivalent item if the range changes). A PDF form of the wish list can be downloaded here.
We will also be approaching specific suppliers with regards to asking them if they could reduce the cost of items. If you have contacts at any companies and are able to help in any way please do not hesitate to contact Marie Peacock on 0113 322 9283 or email email@example.com. Some examples of items on the wishlist can be seen below.
In return for your donation we will send you a certificate of thanks. If your gift to us is made on behalf of someone else, for an example an alternative birthday or Christmas gift, we are able to issue a gift certificate for you to give to them instead.
*Please note: any monies donated for specific items that may be surplus, for example the item is reduced in price when purchased or donated by the manufacturer, will be used towards the Candlelighters Cottage project to cover the general costs of refurbishment.
How the Cottage Campaign funds will be used:
The purpose of the Cottage Campaign is to raise funds to cover the cost of the purchase and refurbishment of the Candlelighters Cottage to provide overnight accommodation for families with a child being treated on wards L31 or L33 in Leeds Children’s Hospital.
Once this aim has been achieved any surplus or unused funds will be used in our charity’s general aims, including other services that we provide.
