The grand finale to the 2015 event took place in the Function Suite at Farnell element14 in Leeds and was attended by a large group of riders, supporters, organisers and representatives of the recipient charities of this annual event. The proceedings were hosted by the Event Organiser of the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride, John Taylorson MBE.

The Great Yorkshire Bike Ride is an annual sponsored charity cycle ride taking in a 70 mile route from Wetherby to the coast at Filey. An entry of 2,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities take part in this great social ride, which is held in June each year.

The proceeds from this year’s event currently stand at £144,175, and the running total of monies raised for charity by this event now stands at £2,606,084. Candlelighters is one of many charitable organisations benefiting from this event.
