A group of five friends from Yorkshire have grouped together to cycle from Snaith to Hull, and then onto Holland, in support of Candlelighters.

The team have chosen to support Candlelighters because of the support given to their friend, Tim, whose son Patrick was diagnosed with cancer and is now in remission.

The Flemish Five

Starting on Sunday 18th June, they will be cycling from Snaith to Hull, before catching the ferry to Rotterdam, cycling to Zeebrugge and then catching the ferry home to do the return journey.

In addition to this, team member Alison will also be running the Hull, Leeds and York 10K’s this summer, as well as taking part in the Great Scottish Swim (a one mile swim of Loch Lomond) on 26th August!

Amazing work from the team. We’d love to say a huge thank you for your support!
