About this Event
Join in the biggest half marathon in the world with over 57,000 runners taking on the 13.1-mile course across Newcastle and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Great North Run in 2021!
The route starts in Gateshead and passes lots of Newcastle’s landmarks including the spectacular Tyne Bridge, ending along the lovely seafront at South Shields. A hugely popular event on the running calendar; celebrities and professional runners including Mo Farah have been known to join in, trying to get a new PB!
