Cleckheaton based company, Duvalay, have generously donated 10 of their most comfortable mattresses to the Candlelighters Cottage, due to open in October. The Cottage will provide home from home accommodation near to Leeds Children’s Hospital; enabling families to stay together whilst a child is undergoing inpatient treatment.

For many parents sleeping in a chair at their child’s bedside is the norm night after night. Getting a good, comfortable night’s sleep is something they will now be able to experience thanks to the support of Duvalay.

The Duvalay mattresses will provide comfort in each of the bedrooms at the Cottage, which is planned to open to families from mid-October.

Elizabeth Colleran, Sales & Marketing Director at Duvalay said, “We are absolutely delighted to be able to help out such a worthy cause. From experience I know how having a very sick child can be totally overwhelming and exhausting; any help available at such a critical time is always gratefully received. We are really pleased to be a part of this project.”

We want to say thank you to them for their fantastic donation!
