The Bupa Great North Run is one of the most important annual events for Candlelighters - registration now CLOSED

Registration is now closed!  Good luck to all our runners, see you there!

Described as "the world's biggest half marathon" and attracting around 52,000 runners, this year's Great North Run takes place on Sunday 16 September 2012.

It is the ultimate fundraising experience, bringing people from all walks of life together to raise money for their chosen charity, soak up the community atmosphere, have fun, and achieve something really amazing.

The Great North Run is one of the most iconic half-marathons on the planet and is broadcast live on both BBC television and on BBC Radio 5 Live. If you want to raise money to help children and teenagers with cancer in Yorkshire, this event will get you noticed.

There is suggested minimum £250 sponsorship.
Place confirmed on payment of registration fee £48. All confirmed runners will recieve a  t shirt or running vest and an invitation to join us in our hospitality marquee
