Candlelighters provides the financial support to purchase the majority of equipment for the Unit, ensuring the needs of patients are fully supported and that the children and their families can be as comfortable as possible during hospital stays.

This equipment includes the electronic beds the children sleep in, the sophisticated medical equipment used in diagnosis and treatment, the fold up beds for parents, the arts and crafts materials used by the Play Team, and the TVs and laptops that enable the children to keep in touch with schoolwork and the outside world.
