Taylor Louise Sheldrake was 9 years old when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in October 2010. The prognosis was always positive, as was Taylor throughout the length of her treatment. Her sense of humour was second to none and remained that way even through the bad days.   Tragically, Taylor lost her 9 month battle with leukaemia on 11th July 2011, a day before her 10th birthday or “double digits” as Taylor called it. Her death came as a shock to all who knew her but it has also strengthened the resolve for everyone to carry on Taylor’s legacy.   Taylor Sheldrakes Friends for Candlelighters has been founded by family and friends of Taylor.  Aptly named we are a sub branch of the main Candlelighters charity and they receive all monies raised by TSFFC.
